Kalon Coast

Kalon Coast reflects great sentimental value to myself, taking inspiration from the coast line of Dumfries and Galloway where I spent so much time when I was younger. Exploring the darker tones of the earth that surrounds us, the scales of the cliff edges at Balcary point, the seaweed and shells from the dhoon and the deep reflection of water and walks with past loved ones at Rascarrel Bay.

Kalon Coast has been produced for a S/S 21 womenswear and accessories collection. Taking inspiration from high end design brands such as Fendi and Acne Studios. The prints have been digitally printed on to a range of luxurious materials from silks, chiffon and vegan leather with hand embellishments. The designs have all been made using hand drawn illustrations, distortions from original photography and abstract mark making and painting layered up to create compositional designs merging art and fashion together.
